Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn, an American actress. She is most famous for her role as Skyler White on Breaking Bad, an AMC drama series Breaking Bad for which she received the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting actress in the Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn grew up in Sante Fe New Mexico and fell in adore with acting when she was in the Preparatory School. At the end of the 70's, she and her family moved to Ohio. She attended the British American Drama Academy and took classes in theatre through Northwestern University. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before taking on film and television roles. In 1992, Anna was offered her first big character in the role of Arden in the series of 29 episodes Down the Shore. Anna continued to be in film as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late the 1990's. Then she was selected for The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood during two complete seasons. Skyler was the character she played as Martha Bullock in Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood are also a an integral part of her professional work. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed film Sex With Strangers. She also had a role in Numbered Day, which is a series of audio dramas. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's marriage to Skyler. Walter White's life story and the strain on his relationship with Skyler can be seen in the series.
